On 26 March, Pearl blessed us with the birth of 8 puppies. Unfortunately we lost the very first one, as he was born breech and she had shown no signs of going into labor, and made no sound, so we were not able to save him. This all start on Friday morning at about 6:00 a.m. Fortunately we had the next seven normally and with some work on one, pulled him through. Marsha’ is great at that. At the end we had 3 boys and 4 girls, all healthy, all growing like weeds. Pearl is doing a great job as a mother, but she is wondering when she will get her figure back. |

We have been watching the Boston Terrier ring for quite some time. And we finally got the opportunity to get a little girl from Linda Martin of Martini Boston Terriers. We have always admired her dogs and took the opportunity when it was here. Her name is Chloe, Martini’s With A Twist. She is a pistol. So far she has barked at all the Griffons and Lil Bit has become her big buddy. Of course all the Griffs think she is great, because all they see is another Lil Bit. We will add more on her in the future and we look forward to watching her grown up. |

Laurie Cook and Gator continue to shine. On the weekend of 21 March, Gator completed the requirements for the Senior Hunter (SH). He Q’d in every test he took. We would like to congratulate Laurie and Gator on their accomplishments as the first dog we bred to get it’s Senior Hunter title with the AKC.
Gator is now working on his RAE (Rally Advanced Excellent) title. For this he has to qualify in the advanced class and excellent class at the same trial 10 times. As of this date he has 4 of the 10. In his spare time he is training for agility and the Utility Test with NAVHDA. |

Well they are gone. And what a hole they leave. They were a very good bunch of puppies, fearless and very pretty. Pearl was a great mother, which made it a lot easier for us to take care of them. Now that they are in their new homes, we wish them all well. |

The much anticipated litter between Sweet Pea, CH Bear Hug Bring It On JH NA NAJ, and Ucky, Ucky du Domaine du Huguera, finally arrived on the night of 13 July and the morning of 14 July. It only contained two puppies, but both are very healthy and I am sure, being licked by their mom right now. She keeps them spotless. She says it is so much easier with two. The picture to the lower right is of Sweet Pea, Chloe and Marsha’ sharing the chair the night before she had the puppies. Marsha’ says I have to get her a bigger chair. |
