“R” LITTEr—Week 2

The puppies have had their tails docked and their dew claws removed.  As you can see in some of the photos that their eyes are opening also.  And even with 14 pups, Poppy is a trooper and all of them are growing every day.   Being close to the 4th of July, we used a patriotic background.  The full background is in the upper right corner of this page.

1 Male—Buzz

Buzz was first and he is the biggest boy.

05 Male—Rocky

Rocky is now the second smallest boy.  His brown plate on his left elbow is very distinctive.

04 Female—Nellie

Nellie is very distinctive with all of her spots.

03 Female—Spotty

Spotty has caught up with everyone now and holding her own.

02 Male—Thor

Thor was one of the first that we noticed up walking around.  Now most of them are doing it.

07 Male—Tigger

Tigger looks like he has a little coiled tail with his markings, just like Tigger bounces around on.

08 Female—Ally

Ally may be mobile, but she is the smallest girl.  Just like her littermates, they are all very strong and active.

09 Female—Heidi

Got confused today in the picture taking between Ally, Lilly and Heidi.  We attribute it to numbers, not age.

10 Female—Lilly

Lilly is not much bigger than Heidi.  Good thing they are marked a little different.

11 Male—Eyor

Eyor is now the smallest pup in the litter.  That doesn’t mean a thing, as he is just as active and holds his own at dinner time.

12 Female—Star

Star is one of the big three here at the end.  And with her blaze and one small plate on her left side, she is easy to spot.

06 Male—James

James  is one of the bigger boys.  Very close to Thor in size and markings.  Can get confusing.

13 Female—Winnie

Winnie is the second member of the big three, but with her markings I get her confused with Nellie.

14 Female—Bertha

Bertha continues to be the biggest of the big three and the entire litter..  Why Poppy waited to have some of her biggest puppies at the end is beyond me, but she did.
