CH Bourgroyal’s bm pearl JH

Pearl is just a sweetheart.  She is a big lover.  She came to us from Bourg Royal kennel and Renee Fortier  in Canada.  Her father is Am/Can CH Duchasseur Bayou.  And her dam is AM/Can CH Duchasseur Moustache.  Both of these dogs are wonderful companions and great gundogs.  Both have prize 1’s in the Utility Test with NAVHDA and Moustache has even been to the Invitational.

Pearl will be 3 years old this spring.  At this time she is 21.5” at the withers and weighs 51 pounds.   She has a beautiful head and wonderful expression.  She moves very nice and has an excellent coat.  She also loves to hunt and retrieve.  She is always carrying something around in her mouth.  And you cannot keep her out of the water.  She currently finished her conformation championship in January 2010.  Currently she has 5 points and one major in Canada.

Pearl received a prize III with a score of 86 on her Natural Ability test.  She received a maximum score in her water work and on the track.  In fact the judges wanted to bring her back to track again, just so that they could watch her do it, because it was so good the first time.  However, I made a mistake and with the heat, I did not give her a chance to cool off and she got too hot on the field portion of the work.  Therefore, she received a 2 on her search and ended up with a prize III.

Pearl has a rating of Good from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFFA).

Most of these pictures are of  Pearl on her first weekend in South Carolina.  In the end, she fell asleep under a hosta.  The heat was too much for her.

Pearl loves the water.  Here she is making a retrieve from the pond.

In this picture you can tell that she has adapted well to her new home and secure in her surroundings.

These are some nice shots of Pearl at a NAVHDA GA training day.  I love the one with two buckets.  After doing her field work, she finished off both.  Just laid down and buried her face in the bucket.  But after the nice work she did, she deserved them.

Here Pearl is training with Maurice Lindley in South Carolina.

Here Pearl is winning Best of Winners at the 2009 Booster in Quebec.  The more remarkable thing was that Lonnie handled her and she still won.  See what a good dog will do for you.
